Game Night/Pizza Party: Game night will be January 5th at 6:00 pm at the Sportsmen’s Club. You can come for pizza or games or both. You must sign-up for pizza in advance so we know what to order. If you have to cancel be sure to notify the Callaghan’s or you will be charged for your portion of the pizza. Please sign up at our next meeting, or contact Pat/Brian Callaghan and let them know you are coming.

Christmas Party: This year’s Christmas Party will be hosted by Pat Deitering, Pat Callaghan and Linda Pillen on Thursday December 15th. Once again the ladies were able to book the Bayview Inn for the party. The cost for this year’s event is $35 per person. Please make your checks payable to the Inland Lakes Snowmobile Club and be sure to mark you entrée selections on your checks. If you haven’t already paid, please mail your check to Linda Pillen.

Map Ads: This year’s maps have been distributed. I still have a few maps for distribution, so if you haven’t picked yours’s up, I will bring them to our next meeting, along with maps for club members. If you have any extra maps or posters, please bring them to the meeting as well.. With the leadership of Gayle Konkel and Gina Palmer the sale of ads for the trail map was a big success. At the last minute the Cheboygan club decided not to sell ads this year and club members stepped up to the plate and collected Cheboygan's ads and sold additional ads as well.  Volunteers selling ads this year were: Arvin, Austin, Callaghan, B. Carver, Deitering, Gies, Hayes, Ivinskas, Konkel, McPherson, Palmer, Pfister, Pillen, Rossman, Schaaf, Socia, Ulrich, and Wakefield.
Some members sold new ads this year: Wakefield (3), Ulrich (4), Pfister, Konkel, Hayes, and Deitering.
Members that picked up extra ads to cover the Cheboygan ads were: Konkel, McPherson, Oppenheiser, Palmer, Rossman, Schaaf, and Ulrich.
Finally a big thanks to everyone who stepped up to help make this year’s Map Ad sales a huge success – this year’s map would not have happened without all of your support

Snowmobile Trips: We have planned a trip to the UP this year on January 23rd to January 27th. We have 13 couples going this year.

Trail Brushing: There is still some brushing work left. Keep an eye out for an e-mail announcing the date. Hope to see you there!

New Business:

Spring Banquet: Since there was no support for a spring banquet this year, Gale Konkel proposed we eliminate the banquet and change it to a Spring Welcome Back Dinner. The proposal is to have dinner at one of our Map Ad Sponsors. We will all pay for our own meals and we will be our own entertainment (no karaoke please!!!). The motion passed.

2017 Welcome Back Dinner – Wednesday May 10, 2017 at the Thirsty Sturgeon in Wolverine. More info to follow.

Window Display: Mickey Martlock reported that she has been working on a sign to go in the window in downtown Cheboygan to promote our club. Randy Lee said he had some things that could be used in the windows, and Jenny has some posters from Indian River Sports Center. More details to follow.

Cookie/Cleanup People: for December’s meeting- Kim Hayes, Linda Rossman, and Sue Le Roy.

Website: Several new items and videos have been added to the website. The site includes the list of cookie people, committees and other information. Check it out!

Best Regards,
